If a picture’s worth a thousand words, imagine how much impact a video film or animation can have!
Much the same budgetary considerations as for photography apply to video filming. However, although some short, general-purpose royalty-free videos are available, you will probably need us to film for you to obtain exactly the right footage. This can be quite cost-effective for use on a website, where the very highest image quality is not absolutely necessary. The animation on the left shows how it’s possible to achieve a powerful impact without the need for a lengthy (and costly) shoot.
But for certain applications, only premium quality video will suffice. We can organise that for you by storyboarding a shoot and commissioning filming, but you may have to sweet-talk your finance director first – the whole exercise can be disturbingly expensive!
Here’s a sound idea…
Why not add some audio? A huge variety of royalty-free sound effects and music samples are readily available, and a splash of sound at the right point in a website or on a CD ROM can be quite compelling: especially when activated by a mouse rollover. We think sound works best when used sparingly – nothing is more irritating than repetitive music that’s difficult to turn off.
